Pre-recorded Videos that Include:
"Nature's Engineers: Part I": This video serves as an introduction to nature's engineers and discusses the definition of an engineer. Through this video students will discover the world of insect and bird engineers with up-close example of what these animals create. (Length: 20 minute)
"Nature's Engineers: Part II": Dive into the world of beavers and what makes them such extraordinary engineers. Look at beaver chews, mounts, real jaws and teeth. (Length: 14 minutes) NOTE: Part I and II have accompanying worksheets. Students can find the answers by watching the videos!
"Engineering Challenge": Test your beaver building skills with this engineering challenge! The video provides a step by step guide to follow. (Length: 5 minutes)
"Virtual Field Trip": Take a look through the Roaring Brook Nature Center's building and meet some of the Center's educational animals. Then take a "hike" through the forest and discover spring findings along the trail. (Length: 10 minutes)

easier or harder depending on the age of the students.

that can be done in the home!

in the home or outside.
